A Showcase of Our Newest Members' Work
The TAC New Member Show will be exhibited in our studio/classroom area. It will only be open to new members of the club as of January 1, 2024. Notifications of acceptance will be sent out within a few days of entry through email.
Media are limited to painting, drawing, photography, and reasonable three-dimensional work. The maximum frame size for flat work is 36 inches on the longest side. Artists are invited to submit digital images (.JPG) of up to two original works of art. All submissions must be made through the online application. The show will be promoted on the Toledo Artists' Club website and Facebook page, to the public, and area art organizations.
All artwork must be original and not produced in a follow along class or workshop. Work should not be a copy of another artist's work. Artwork that received an award in any previous exhibition at the Toledo Artists’ Club can be submitted but it is not eligible for an award. All accepted entries must remain on display until April 23, 2025.
The Club retains the right to reject any inappropriate or inappropriately framed entry. Drop off accepted entries at Toledo Artists’ Club, at the date and time given below. All flat work entries to be displayed in the gallery must be suitably framed except for gallery-wrapped canvases. All flat work entries (except for oil paintings and acrylic paintings) must be presented with clear acrylic glazing. Soft pastels may be glazed with clear glass. All flat work entries must be ready to hang. Artwork must remain on display for the duration of the exhibit. Saw-tooth hangers are not acceptable. Back labels will be provided to the artists for the accepted works. Each submitted piece must have a label attached to the back of it.

PLEASE NOTE that entries without properly sized and labeled images may be disqualified until they meet the image submission requirements.

Release of Liability
The artist should always insure their work. The Gallery Committee will professionally handle the artwork. The Toledo Artists' Club is not responsible for any loss or damage to the artwork at any time during the duration of this exhibit.

Artwork sales information
You may set a price and mark your artwork for sale or mark it not-for-sale (NFS). Leave the figures $00.00 in the price field on the application if you don't wish to sell a piece.
The contact information of any buyer will be provided to the artist shortly after the close of the exhibit. The artist is responsible for arranging the delivery to the purchaser of any work sold. For all work that is sold, the sale price minus
a commission (25%) to Toledo Artists’ Club will be remitted to the artist within 30 days of the end
of the show.
