Meet Nancy

Nancy has always had a passion for music and art and graduated with a degree in Fine Art from Bowling Green State University with an emphasis on painting and specializing in Graphic Design. But Hollywood was calling her name and upon graduation she moved to CA and began working in the film business. After nearly three decades in Southern CA, life altering events prompted a move back to Ohio to be closer to family. It was then that she rediscovered her artistic roots and entered an online colored pencil contest. She received an Honorable Mention and was completely hooked!

She has worked in many different mediums through the years, but Colored Pencil is where her passion lies. She strives for realism in her work and her subjects are diverse, but she particularly loves focusing on the details in everyday subjects and capturing that perfect "moment in time" and having them come to life on her paper.

Nancy's work has been published in many International magazines both as a featured artist and as author of articles, including two times in Artists Network Best of Drawing, Strokes of Genius.

She is an International award winning artist and her drawings have been accepted in gallery shows around the country. She is a proud Signature member of the Colored Pencil Society of America, (CPSA), and is also a member of the International Guild of Realism, (IGOR), the United Kingdom Colored Pencil Society, (UKCPS), and Allied Artists of America.
